Continuing Medical Education Program - Treatment Guidelines

The purpose of the Treatment Guidelines from The Medical Letter Continuing Medical Education Program is to provide for health care professionals (primarily physicians and pharmacists) a reliable source of: a) the latest information on drugs for treating major diseases; b) recommendations for first-choice and alternative drugs; c) comparative assessments of the drugs' effectiveness, safety and cost; and d) charts and tables for easy reference. Participants are required to answer exam questions based on the content of Treatment Guidelines from The Medical Letter. Importantly, the objectives of developing the content on which the exam is based are to educate the participant, impact clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. The Medical Letter's unbiased content is free of commercial influence and financial sponsorship. The Medical Letter does not accept advertising, grants or donations. The program is completely funded by fees paid by the exam participants. The Treatment Guidelines from the Medical Letter Continuing Medical Education Program is accredited by: ACCME AAFP ACPE.
